Application message in Failed (Outbound)

Hi

I have following error in Outbound Application message.

Error while preparing input data. 
Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Transformer error : java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2 
Caused by: javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2 
Caused by: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2

 

This error will be gone after reroute the application message but Multiple messages frequently appearing in failed status. Please advise.What could be  a reason and how it could be resolved permanently?

Tierajeng,

I think we need some more information.

Is this happening with a specific transformer?

Is it a custom build transformer?

Where is the input coming from (I mean from which part of IFS)?

Maybe you can include some screenshots?
