How to increase the 'Actual Opening balance' in Cash Box

Customer needs to know how to increase the 'Actual Opening balance' in Cash Box (Financials / Cash Book / Cash Box)

hi @Naika Omani,

Ask them to use the same method which they are using for cash reimburse to cash box. They just need to increase the amount.

Else they can use ‘Cash transfer’ transaction type to transfer cash from bank account to cash box.

Hi Naika,

I assume that the balance on the GL account for this specific Cash Box account is already correct. Only The starting balance in Cash Box does not match the GL Balance. 

To effect balances in mixed payment you or cash book you can create a MP/CashBox and post a direct cash payment against the GL account representing the cash box account. In total you will debit and and credit the same account (so the balance in gl is not changing) using the direct cash transaction and the automatic posting PP1. While using the MP or cash box with a transaction the “internal” balance counter for the MP/CashBox will be changed by the amount of the transaction.
