CR Status automatically changing to Processed

Hi,

When a Change Order (CO) connected to a Change Request (CR) and the CO is approved, the CR Status is automatically set to 'Processed' and the CR is locked preventing any future updates.

Are we able to disable that to allow us to make updates to the CR once the CO has been approved? Either by not automatically changing to CR status to Processed, or being able to reverse the status to Active to make those updates?

Or any other workarounds that would allow us to update the CR once the CO Status is set to Approved.

Appreciate any help on this issue.

Hi @Naveena Nanayakkara,

 

I think this has been done purposely to avoid the discrepancy between the CR and the approved CO. Once the CO reaches the state “Approved” it means we have the permission to go ahead with the requested change. So, it will be questionable to allow someone to modify an already approved change now.

Looks like a customization is required to achieve your specific requirement here.

I think this has been done purposely to avoid the discrepancy between the CR and the approved CO. Once the CO reaches the state “Approved” it means we have the permission to go ahead with the requested change. So, it will be questionable to allow someone to modify an already approved change now.
