Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to restrict / set number of hours registered against project to prevent overbookings.
I have planned hours transferred from Planning which are visible in Project Navigator - Activity. I have Defined Employee Access to activity and want personnel to be able to register the planned hours only.
Is this functionality available?

I have not seen a core functionality to support that kind of a validation. You will have to create a custom event to trigger an error message when sum(Reported Hours) > sum(Planned Hours) condition is met.
I suggest you create this event with the help of a technical consultant as there could be many conditions you expect system to functionally checked before triggering an error.
