Hello Community,

I have two query regarding project. 

  1. The business requirement is to create a project quote and if won convert it to a project. In IFS which functionality can be used to cater this?
  2. Is there any way to create customer order from project / it will be a manual connection, need to create a customer order manually then connect the project activity?

Hi @AllJewelP,

I would need to know more about your customer and their business requirements before being able to make any suggestions.

What sort of industry are they in? What would be in the project quote? Is it for a schedule of work or for a material thing?

What sort of customer order is being created? Is it for an inventory or non-inventory part?

The customer is a industrial equipment manufacturer. Their project is equipment installation in customer site. So the requirement is to create some kind of project quotation with estimated cost and work detail, And if customer agrees that needs to be converted to project.

 

Regrading second query, the way we create Purchase requisition through create project supply request. Is there any to create Customer order order for inventory sales part ?
