What is the difference between project cash forecast and budgeted forecast? What is the purpose of creating a project cash forecast?

Project cash forecast is used to forecast the cash rather than costs and revenues. There is a time delay representing payment terms from the cost and revenue dates which will drive the cash forecasting.

The project cash forecast is linked with cash planning, which can bring together subcontractor payment plans, supply chain, and finance sources into a full project cash forecast.

Thank you for the response. Can you please elaborate the time delay from cost revenue elements and also how the cash planning is linked to the cash forecast?

Users manually associate the cash plan to the project cash forecast.

Time delay for invoices and supply chain elements are calculated automatically based on payment terms. If a project cash forecast is copied from project forecast spreading, then it’s possible to apply the time delay at the cost element level as part of basic data. Alternatively, users can do the cash in/out spreading manually.

Can someone suggest where to move this discussion? It's definitely not Document Management 🙃

The ‘Project Based’ section would be the correct one:
