When entering Project Activities using the following numbering structure, it automatically places the order by grouping the numbers as shown, resulting in 1.10 being listed before 1.2 etc.  Is there a way to prevent this?  

1.1

1.10

1.11

1.2

1.3

I want the sequence to be as follows:

1.1

1.2

1.3

1.10

1.11

​@VanCarolK While I understand the context behind this idea, it is quite difficult because the Activity id is a alpha numerical value. When such values sort this is the outcome. Making the activity id is a number would solve the issue but it is not a solution.

In most implementations, the best option is to avoid this patten but stick to 10, 20, 30 or 101, 102, 103

Just thinking loud here.
