In Project Deliverables – Design item status remains Approved, however connected supply is Closed.

Hi,

In Project Deliverables – Material & Services, item number 101582 is linked to the supply PO O100033859, which is currently in Closed status (Order Status = Closed).

 

However, in Project Deliverables – Design, the status of the same connected item 101582 remains Approved.
We expect the status to move to 'Completed' once the related supply is closed. Could you please confirm whether there is any application setup or configuration that controls this status synchronization?

    Hi ​@CapVijayR,

    As far as I know, supply (PO) completion and deliverable completion are separate lifecycle steps and those cannot be synchronized using existing settings of the application. May be a custom event can be used, but not sure.

      Your reasoning is incorrect. The material status is "Fully Recieved” and is probably still in inventory, ready to be issued on a Shop Order, Purchase Order Line as Supplier Material, Shipment Line or issued against the item itself. And if it's fully issued you could consider to use an event based action to set i

      Also be aware that there can be more than 1 purchase order line, shipment line or shop order for a single item.
