How do you find which Engineering Revision was delivered?

We are using IFS 7.5

Our BOM can contain many thousands of components. It is regularly the case that engineering revise these components (someitmes multiple times) for use across multiple BOMs (for wider compatibility, responding to supplier/client feedback etc etc). All our parts are backwards compatible for fit, form, function reasons. It would be useful for our software team to know which revision of a part was delivered when the vehicle was delivered. Is there a way to see this data, perhaps in transaction history?

Hi,

In the inventory transactions you can see which Inventory revision are used.

In the Inventory Part, the tab Revisions, you can find the relation between the Inventory revision (with the phase in and phase out dates) and the Engineering revision

This is automatically filled if you use the Engineering transfer from IFS PDM, or you could fill it manually

Hope this helps

Regards Erik
