Hi,

I'm setting up MCPR connections for a few projects, but I get an error message.

Error message: The report code RC99 is not connected to the employee activity. You can see example in the picture. I have also tried to do the same connection (to the same project) for company 1167, and I get the same error message but with report code RC02 (which is to be used in that case). This has worked fine before and I cannot find the root cause. Customer Project ID=100411.

Another user has also tried and he gets the same results. I have checked:

Report codes are valid in both employee and customer company.

Report code is set on activity in both employee and customer company projects.

Activities are released.

Company details.

Tried only adjusting activities start dates to September 1st, makes no difference in error message.

Contacted our IFS support partner that thinks this is a bug. They cannot access DB.

Kind regards,

Sophia

Hi @SophiaC,

Did you try to link this in Multi-Company Project Reporting Activity Link Setup window?

Hi @SophiaC,

There was a similar issue with the same error. Since this article is a bit old, could you please verify that the below scenario is not the case:

The MCPR activity link creation validates the employee activity report code against the current system date. As a result, an activity link cannot be created when the report code is configured with a Valid From Date in the future, even though the report code is valid from the activity's Early Start Date. This prevents MCPR activity links from being configured in advance of project execution. This is a known product defect now.

Kind regards,

Sophia
