Copy of projects including Work Orders

Hi Team, 

Could be possible create a new project copying from other  (used as template) including in the copy the workorders related to each activity ??

Obviously creating new workorders, equivalent to those of the template project.

The intention is avoid a process of:

  1. Copy of Project and Activities
  2. Copy of WorkOrders.
  3. Connect manually one by one, the new workorders, to the activities of the new project.

Any idea to simplify this process?

Only with Custom Events

Some ideas;

  • Add Project Tasks (which are copied upon ‘Copy Project’), upon creation of the specific tasks Work Orders are generated (Progress Template could be a field to allow checks so that only for these specific tasks WO are generated)
  • Or add an Activity Class + value to trigger the creation of Work Orders.
