Complete a sales contract before final application

Morning,

 

We are doing billing from sales contracts connected to a project. Our client PO is entered into revisions and items, we have found that users are able to close the sales contract before all applications are complete against the revisions and items. As per the standard docs: Complete Sales Contract, it seems this should not be possible. Are we missing some basic setup to prevent this or get a warning?

HI, i am curious to the responses on your question, because we got the same question about this. As far as we have noticed until now you will only get a warning message when you want to complete the sales contract: total of AFP must be equal to sales contract.
