Apps 10: I am trying to set up pre-posting at project header level so I dont have to do it on each individual line.

 

When trying to then connect the order line to the project, i get the following error message:

 

Code part Customer is not allowed to have a pre-posting value since M104 - Preaccounting Customer Order Row has not been enabled for code part Customer in company ITL.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on what this is telling me? Ive checked and the preposting is set up correctly on the finance project but maybe I have missed something

@MikeH I guess you would need to setup M104 for the Customer Code Part with AC2 control type in your ITL company.

Many thanks, we have set M104 to AC2 customer but still getting the same message :(

Hi @MikeH,

This could perhaps be date related, as the M104 entry for Customer is only valid from 19th October according to your screenshot. Do you see the same issue if you backdate it (e.g. to 2007 as the other records)?
