Working with APB

APB is win32 application and there is a maximum memory limit that it can operate. Please refer to IFS Technical documentation for exact values. It is less than 2GB. Please verify if your data is exceeding that memory limit. if so it is highly likely that it s the memory that slows it down. Can see this in task manager.  It is possible to define logical subsets and then schedule them. This could be a viable workaround.

But from your description, it seems like it is not hitting that limit. 2000 operation site is most certainly schedulable with APB

APB schedules the mentioned 2000 operations, the scheduling process itself is relatively fast and there is no problem there.
The problem is loading the operations, which takes about 2 to 5 minutes and sometimes more. The subsequent work with APB is also a problem. After clicking on the selected operation, APB "freezes" and remains in this state for 30 to 60 seconds, then it "starts up", allows a few operations to be performed, then it "freezes" again and constantly cycles like this.
I am not a specialist in Windows, but if APB is a win32 application, it can use a maximum of 2GB of RAM, so increasing the memory probably won't help me.
I read somewhere that APB requires the JVM setting: -Xms8g -Xmx12g - but I don't know if it would help.

I think it is better to contact IFS for support with a ticket for this issue. Thanks and regards
