Is anyone familiar with the Work Center Setup Matrix?
Does this functionality interact with routings or operations on a shop order?
I setup a characteristic code and values, I was able to create the setup matrix, but I don’t know what this will actually do. Please help.

When you schedule it checks orders and characteristics of both sequential order and then changes the standard setup time taken from routing with the value from the matrix.

The Work Centre Set-Up Matrix is typically used in conjunction with IFS APB (Advanced Planning Board) which contains sequencing functionality. The idea is that the system can use the matrix in conjunction with the characteristics to sequence the shop order operations to minimise change over/set up times.
