As you know there are certain things you cannot change after a record is save.  For example, you cannot change an inventory part’s unit of measure after the initial setting is made.

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of things like this throughout the who system???

Hi @Vernon Anderson,

In the Entity screen, the information is available whether the field is updatable or not. Please refer to the screenshot below.

In the Inventory_Part view, the ABC_Class field is updatable in nature, unlike UoM.

Hope this helps.

As far as I know, there is no such list in the whole system. Since it's a very open question, I would suggest considering the data dependency in IFS Cloud. For example, a single data point might depend on a separate table in a different location. If we change the current data, the referred place should ideally be updated as well. Due to this restriction, data will be frozen once we define the values. The user has to figure out which data can and cannot be changed after saving.
Thanks,
Yohan

Your comment is the same as mine and others; there is no comprehensive list of such restrictions but I think it would be a great idea to compile one!
