I have had a couple of questions sent me regarding visual scheduling of shop orders. One of our customer's business units wants to be able to use visual capacity requirements planning to do their longer term assignments to operators on the shop floor. They then use drag and drop scheduling to move work from a general work center to a specific work center for an operator. When they highlight a shop order to move, the display does not provide any information or the status of the materials required for the shop order.
Has anyone done a modification to the dialog box that shows the shop order information to allow it to show the material status?
