Is it possible to hide a Tab in the permission set. I need to hide the ‘COST’ Tab inside the ‘Project’ for some users in their permission sets, is it possible?
I only found out that I can hide it inside a base profile.

It is possible to remove the Tabs Access in IFS application using permission sets. But in your case since your requirement is to hide a sub tab, I don’t think it can be achieved through permissions as sub tabs are using same frame as parent. However, it is possible to remove the access to data view ability in a sub tab using permission set.
By removing the View access of the sub tab in the parent presentation object users will not be able to see the information under that sub tab.
