Does anyone knows if it’s possible to use GS1 labels in shop floor workbench - handle structure by barcode functionality? We are implementing GS1 labels in our warehouse including batch or serial number,. Now is the question if the shop floor module can handle these labels to extract this number for structure purposes?

Unfortunately the Barcode field used to define the tracked structure for a shop order only validates the scanned value against serial number, lot/batch number and inventory barcode ID.

This means that the information in the GS1 will be recognized as a total string but IFS cannot recognize this as a GS1 label to extract the serial number or lot number for the tracked structure?
What is the common solution for this situation (using GS1 labels) ? Adding a second barcode to the label for serial or lot number? Or not using GS1 labels?
