24.1.3.

I have a manufacturing tool enabled for control plan with three valid calibrated tool instances.

In an Analysis Result for a data point that is connected to this tool ID, in the Enter and View Results dialog I am not able to select a tool instance in the dropdown list.

In the Analysis Result page, though, using the ‘Select Tool’ command for the data point I am able to select a tool instance in the dropdown list.

Could this be a bug?

All of the instances have valid periods.

I think the issue is something we have experienced previously and I forgot to consider.

I had the Analysis Result page open, then in another tab I updated the calibration dates on the tool instances as each was past due. Returning to the Analysis Result page to enter results, I neglected to perform a browser refresh; this seems to be the remedy when you cannot see data that you know should be visible.

Make sure that each defined Tool Instance has a defined validity period, then it should work!

@Peter Lundgren each instance has a defined validity period. Just strange why I can select the instances using one method (Select Tool) but not the other (Enter and View Results).

Yes, that´s strange. I have not been able to recreate it in 24R1.

Is Validity = “Active” for all defined Tool Instances?
