Translation Table for Characteristic Values

Not clear to me, maybe others as well, what you want.

Can you include a screenshot (part of it) where you want to have something done?

Rereading this after 6 months and think that you want to have a translation of the actual value a user has entered. So for example characteristic is color. User is English so enters Red. However you want the French user to read Rouge. I don’t think that is possible as it would be roughly the same as basic data (that has no translated value (think of description of an item).

However for printing, output to excel, you might have to write a small package that uses the translation functionality of IFS (view: TEXT_TRANSLATION).

Or make use of the Basic Data Translation functionality. Still some work for yourself to do however.
