Time clock customization

Hello,

We would like to customize the Time Clock terminal display so that when technicians swipe their card or enter employee ID, they only see the operations that are assigned to them.

We would also like to display additional operational details beyond the operation number and description, such as:

  • Part Number
  • Lot Quantity
  • Labor Time
  • Any other relevant production information

Is this type of customization possible in IFS? If so, could you please provide the relevant IFS documentation, configuration guides, or customization references that explain how this can be implemented?

I appears to be a better fit to use Shop Floor Workbench than Time Clock for this purpose. Shop Floor Workbench already allows you to swipe an employee card and get a list of operations assigned to this employee (if the filter connected to the employee is configured in this way). You can also view the mentioned operation details.

    I would like to clarify one point: are you indicating that it is not possible to customize the Time Clock interface?

    Since we currently do not have the Shop Floor Workbench module implemented, would it be possible to provide a screenshot of the screen an employee would see when using it? If available, I would also be interested in any documentation, presentations, or other materials that explain the module's functionality and user experience.

    Unfortunately, I have no insight into whether Time Clock can be customized or how difficult such a customization would be.

    Shop Floor Workbench belongs to the SHPORD (Shop Order) module.

    Like other pages in IFS Cloud, Shop Floor Workbench can be configured to show only the buttons, fields, columns, etc. that are relevant to the specific use case.
