Yes, if you are talking about Standard Operation for Routing. You can define SOP and copy or refer in theRouting.

And if you have more than one operation you can setup a Template and copy or refer it in Routing. Standard Operation can be used in setting up Template too.

Hi @bldrayi ,

You can find the high-level flows in the Help page.

For an example;

https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/default.htm?openpage=https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/ProcessModels/Process_Model/CreateSO.htm

If you are on APP10 or below, you can click F1 key in a window and get the Help open.

The above flow diagrams can be used to develop specific SOPs for your organization. Hope this helps as a starting point.

There are numerous modes of operation for IFS Manufacturing, so you have to first establish what mode or modes you plan on operating in before you can investigate how to set up the operations.

  • Are you making every item per order from a customer?
  • Are you making items to stock irrespective of customer order demand?
  • Are you making custom products that do not have a standard product structure?
  • Are you making configured items that require a configured product structure and rules for the configuration?
  • Are you making in house?
  • Are you outsourcing your assembly and/or machining?
  • Do you require serialization of every item or at least some items you produce?

You would need to know the answer to all of these questions and many more before you could decide how to setup IFS for your manufacturing operation.  There are a nearly infinite number of combinations of operation and production available with IFS, so there is not one single SOP that would indicate how to adapt it to your business model.

Thanks a lot.

I mean to know the general standart operations in order to start plan and implement as production is not yet started.

I think the best you are going to get is to start with the IFS Training Material here:

[YourIFSInstance]/ifsdoc/documentation/en/IFSTrainingMaterial.htm

Concentrate on Make to Stock Planning and Make to Order Planning to figure out which type you will start with - could be both.  Then determine whether you are Purchasing everything from suppliers, Making everything yourself, or a mix of both.  You will likely want to have a consultation with a third party or IFS Consultant to then help apply the information to your operation.
