Hi, The users are trying to update the tax code but are getting this error message :

‘This record is now Active. You can only update the valid to date’

 

I have tried to inactivate this and the inventory part but that doesnt work. I cant find a valid to date?

 

Any assistance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. 

This is a new product for the business.

There is no standard field like Valid To on the Sales Part screen, and I haven’t seen such an error before as well.

This seems to be a Custom Event to me, and I would suggest having a look at the debug console or connecting with your technical team.

​@SPierpoint I concur with Abdul’s oppinion that this message most probably stems from a PL/SQL event action.

I just did a short search in the DB and this message is not implemented in any API package. Please check this with your IT. They could disable the event and allow you to update the TAx Code.
