We are looking for a way to prevent or restrict manufacturing operators from reporting QC operations in Shop Orders. We can restrict this via a Filter in Shop Floor Workbench, but do not see an obvious way to do so in Shop Order. The QC operations are in a separate Department and Work Center. We do not use Team or Employee reporting, we use Anonymous Reporting.

To implement a fix without changing anything else, use a good old custom event to trigger an error message when they try to report to an operation that they shouldn’t.
+25Qualifications can be used for this purpose. You can connect a Qualification Profile to the Routing Operation and setup the site to validate qualifications. Then employees without the required qualifications (certificates and competences) are not allowed to report the operation.

Bjorn, good idea. unfortunately, due to turnover in manufacturing and other reasons, we do not currently use IFS HR functionality.
