How can we set for certain parts/operations, only certain workcenters are possible? That means for example if we use the visualiser and drag and drop an operation to a workcenter which is not allowed, IFS gives an error message?
Example: Operation ‘Paint Job’ is possible in workcenter ‘Paint area 1’ and ‘Paint area 2’, however if we try to schedule it in workcenter ‘Assembly area’, IFS gives an alert/error.

Unfortunately it is not possible to restrict to what work centers an operation can be rescheduled to using visual planning Gantt chart.
As a workaround you may try a custom event/action to trigger an error if rescheduled to a non allowed work center.
You can also request this in the idea section of the community! Please also include information on whether you expect the setup/run/transport times on the operation to change if you rescheduled to another work center.
