We are trying to use the Resource analysis to look at our workcenter capacities. However, it seems like when new orders are entered, we have to run Refresh Resource Analysis Snapshot before you can see the new demand. Is that correct?
Also, If I RMB on a work center and schedule it to run, does it update ALL work centers and does it update for ALL users?
I thought it would update as part of the MRP/CRP jobs, is that not correct?
I believe that the resource analysis is just a snapshot in time therefore you will need to refresh everytime you make a change and then go to the analysis view. You can set a scheduled task to do this automatically and the snaphot timestamp is displayed in the header of the analysis screen so that you know exactly how current the snapshot it.
Don’t know about the work centre question I’m afraid but the updated snapshot is applicable for all users.
