Dear IFS experts,

I have a question regarding manufacturing.

How can we provide materials for a shop order that will be produced the next day (or on another future day)?

Taking the following points into account:

  1. the sequence of the materials
  2. the location of the materials

Is that possible in IFS Cloud, and if so, how?

Thank you in advance.

@Björn Hultgren do you have an idea?

@Link Each shop order material line has a Required Date/Time when it is required in production. It’s calculated as the start date of the operation where it’s needed minus the queue time.

You can then use the Move Shop Order Reservations with Transport Task to collect material lines with a required date within a specific date or time range that should be moved from the warehouse to the work center inbound location.

Of course you can also use a pick list

Hi @Björn Hultgren

is there a way to select the materials instead of “location from”?

Yes you can also select the material lines you want to move directly from a page like Shop Order or Shop Floor Workbench. Else, you can filter the material lines on the Material Selection criteria.
