Option "Adjust for Op Deviation Qty" on Shop Orders

Hello,

According to the documentation, the default value option “Adjust for Op Deviation Qty” is inherited from the manufactured inventory part when shop orders are created. It works fine when a shop order is created automatically from Requisition or customer order, the option default selection on shop order match the selection on the inventory part.

But when creating a shop order manually for manufactured inventory part, the option “Adjust for Op Deviation Qty” is enabled by default, even when the option is disabled on the manufactured Inventory part.

Is there a way to disable this option by default for shop orders created manually?

Thanks in advance for your help.

@Wafaa I checked this in the latest version, 23R2 and it seems like this feature works as expected in the Shop Order page, when creating a SO.

But when the overview is used to create the Shop Order, I also observed the same.

Consider reporting this to IFS Support for further evaluation.

@Wafaa Seems that it works as expected when the shop order is manually created from the Shop Order page, but not when created from the Shop Orders page. Please raise a support ticket to have this further investigated.
