Move WIP between work centers

Hi all,

I have a question regarding internal logistics during Shop Order execution.
In some cases, WIP needs to be physically moved by logistics between two Work Centers between two operations on the same Shop Order. 

Is there a standard functionality in IFS Cloud to:

  • Trigger internal logistics that WIP is ready to be moved?

  • Generate a transport task is not possible because it is WIP, but another signal or other notification to inform warehouse/logistics staff that something needs to be transferred between operations?

This will be supported in IFS Cloud 26R1 for moving WIP between internal operations. It will be handled by receiving a special type of WIP product into stock when reporting a completed quantity on an operation into stock.

This feature is not available at the moment in released cloud tracks, but is being considered for future developments.
