Modifying decimal places in 'Engineering Part Revision'

This field ”Quantity Per Assembly” is linked with the the product structure information, once you have transferred the Engineering part to the inventory. Additionally once the Engineering Part Revision set as active also the record will fixed because the value is a basic data in the part information. So we cannot limit the decimals. 

Hope the above details will help to understand the situation.

The screenshot shows the EPR to be in Preliminary status so there should be no issue with modifying the quantity nor having as many decimal places as required (up to 100)?

Thank you for your replies.

The requirement is to read the column with x no. of decimal places, even if they are zeros.

Ex:

• To be able to set the decimal places to 3 (Round off to 3 decimal places)
• If 1 is added, it must change to 1.000 automatically
