Could anyone please confirm when have created a forecast on 31st of this month and it is in PTF. After running MS-Part 1 system has created the supply on 31st which is getting balanced with the same quantity of customer order but I want to understand why system has created one more line on 1st of the next month. Refer ss attached.
I want to understand the logic or business requirement for this.

That is to mark the first working day after PTF. A similarly line can be seen for 05-26 for considering DTF as well. These boundaries (with exact date values based on your MS calculation executed date) will help you in defining the forecasts and supplies.
You get these two lines when you run the MS calculation even with/without a forecast/actual demands.
It is kind of a placeholder, maintained by the Level 1 Calculation and used by the Level 1 Calculation so it knows where the boundary is for creating proposed Master Schedule Receipts. It has been then for a long time, and it kind of simplifies some of the calculations under the hood. Perhaps the “dummy” record may improve the user’s feeling of how far out the Planning Time Fence is.
