Hi,

Is there a way to mass close shop orders that are still open in IFS Cloud? Specifically, there are older shop orders in Started or Parked status that are already completed in terms of quantity, or cannot be closed due to issues such as control plan errors.

These shop orders need to be closed without generating additional system transactions, as that could impact financial records.

If mass closing is not possible, deleting the shop orders would also be acceptable.

I have already checked the “Mass Delete Shop Orders and Clockings” option; however, it requires the shop orders to be either Cancelled or Closed before they can be processed.

Thank You.

Hi,

There is no valid way to close or cancel orders without completing the required control plans or resolving all related transactional data. Allowing such an action would violate the intended functional flow, as any open transactions must be fully resolved before a shop order can be closed.

“Mass Delete Shop Orders and Clockings” option is also given just to clear the unnecessary transactions in the past that are related to closed or cancelled shop orders.

If the intention is to remove unnecessary historical data without creating additional transactions, a data repair can be considered. However, this must be done with extreme caution, as deleting transactional data can lead to significant secondary matters.

Thanks!

Lakshan
