In APP9 when customers are in the “Shop Floor Workbench” screen, customers can clock in labor on multiple shop orders at the same time, both on the same resource and not on the same resource without the system asking or warning. The system does continue to clock labor on each shop order that is running concurrently, and each shop order that is running continues to show the gear icon.
Question: If customer have “ask” selected under the “allow concurrent operations” for the labor class, why isn’t the system asking before clock in under multiple shop orders?
There is a setting on the site that governs whether employee information is asked. It's on the manufacturing tab of site and the question is "Reporting mode"

Please also note, that as an operation can have both machine and labor clockings ongoing, stopping the labor may still leave the machine ongoing. If you want the machine to also be automatically stopped when the (last) labor clocking is automatically stopped, you can select the Auto Stop Machine Clocking check box in the Work Center window.
- Yes - Existing clockings will be continued
- No - Existing clockings will be stopped
- Ask - When the employee starts a new clocking, a message will be raised for the employee to choose whether the existing clocking should be stopped or not
Please also note, that as an operation can have both machine and labor clockings ongoing, stopping the labor may still leave the machine ongoing. If you want the machine to also be automatically stopped when the (last) labor clocking is automatically stopped, you can select the Auto Stop Machine Clocking check box in the Work Center window.
