We have a few items that was acidentally been registered in IFS with the wrong revision and we would like to change this without changing all items in stock or all items with the same revision. Is this possible? Anyone who knows how?

Hi @nessanpessan,

As far as I know, it is not possible to simply change the revision for Part in Stocks.

One possibility is to use the shop order repair process. This means that you create a shop order of the type repair for the respective parts and obtain the part with the wrong revision. When you book the shop order back into stock, you get the revision that you used for the shop order.

@nessanpessan If the correct revision value exists as a Part Revision, you can issue or count-out the incorrect revision from stock and then either receive (NREC) or count-in the correct revision. If the correct revision does not exist as a Part Revision you would need to create it.

@nessanpessan, no matter which way you go. Be sure to coordinate with FiCo beforehand, as this will generate some financial value transactions.
