Estimated Material Cost from Estimate screen

We used the Estimate screen to develop product estimated material cost.  Each component has a direct material cost per unit.  We used Transfer Estimate Products to generate Inventory Parts.  Is there a standard method in IFS to set the estimated material cost for purchased Inventory Parts equal to the direct material cost per unit from the product Estimate?  If not, how do you do it?

Hi @MWitczak,

 

This looks like a scenario which has not been handled yet by our R&D (Product Development) team.

Could you please send a Support case. IFS Support team can work with R&D team and come up with a possible step (patch or an enhancement).

 

For the moment, we only can manually enter Estimated material cost in Inventory Part Cost tab.
