In our DOP structure, shop orders for the same parts will arise on different levels, with different need dates. IFS creates all these seperately.
Is there a setting which tells IFS to create the Shop orders once, at the earliest due date with a lot size that can cover the needs for the complete DOP? A bit like MRP planning method G.

There’s no such setting. When the same part is required on multiple levels in a DOP structure the required date is typically different as well so it is not that straight forward to merge them into one large shop order.
However if you manually release the lowest DOP level including this part and manually increases the lot size (with site set to not replicate quantity increases to DOP demand), the excess quantity on the shop order can be used by order DOP orders.
