Hi all,
do we have any chance to create a demand and issue configured parts (DOP) from project?
Any workaround or tricks that can be shared as we receive this error message:
Thank you

Hi;
Creating a Customer Order Line for the Configured Part with Supply Type = DOP, DOP Connection = Automatic DOP and then connect the Customer Order Line to a Project Activity.
Then release the Customer Order,
this would create a DOP Header connected to the Project,
Also if customer order connection is not needed, then
We can crease a DOP Header for the Configured Part and
Then Connect the DOP Header to the Project Activity via RMB option in the DOP Header and
Then Create DOP Structure and Release it.
thanks a lot. true, this is an option but I am right to say that even with your proposal I am not able to issue this DOP/shop order created part from stock to project, right?
still, the costs appear on project which is one step forward.
Hope you are referring to the Topmost part, once the Shop Order is received, the part will be moved to stock and will be in the Project Inventory as the Transaction has the Project ID, activity sequence etc, In Inventory Parts in Stock you can move between projects and Standard Inventory using the provided move options.
Here the Quantity of the Configured Part in the Project Inventory (Already accounted for a Project, may be by receiving a Shop Order for this Part which is Connected to a Project, or via a Move Transaction to Project Inventory) can be moved to another Project or the Standard Inventory.
This is a Configured part in the Standard Inventory, so it can be moved to a Project.
true, thank you. but still I cant issue this part which is on project stock as it is a configurable part:
I have created an idea for this; Create Configured Part Purchase Orders (also from Project) | IFS Community
