When deploy database files using IFS Solution Developer when do patch merging for IFS App10, we mostly get “Database code generation failed” Error as below and files are not deployed correctly in internal environments.

Is there any workaround for this to get deployed the database files after patch merge?

This is a common issue we software engineers encounter when we do App10 related patch merges using IFS Solution Developer 2. There are two ways that we use to get the files deployed in relevant environments ( mostly in internal DEV).

1. Run the Auto Builder after check-in the files into harvest and make sure that the Autobuilder is successfully executed. This is will deploy the latest harvested files into the Database

2. If not, check in the merge database files, create a project using IFS Developer Studio, checkout the whole module of merge files and use “Generate and Deploy Files..” option. This is will correctly generate database files from .plsql and deploy into database.

Hope this information will help you.
