Could someone clarify what I’m seeing here, please?  We appear to be stuck in some weird loop.

Inventory Part Cost Level SEEMS to indicate ‘Cost per configuration’ is a choice available in a Weighted Average environment

If we select ‘Configurable’ we get the below message - indicating to change Valuation Method to Cost per Configuration ...

… Yet when we change THAT setting we get this message…

Any clues gratefully received!

Thanks

@PRODQ Strange indeed as this is what the permissible combinations have always been.

Thanks.  I may see if I can ask IFS to investigate.

Combination is possible.

It might be the sequence you do the change.

Try, 1st set the inventory part to Standard Cost and Cost Per Part, then ON the Configuration in Part Master and go back and change to Weighted Average and Cost per config

That’s not immediately possible for us as the ‘Standard Cost’ option is deliberately hidden in our environment.  I’ll need to undo this first.  This is what Support have just advised.
