Create a Single Transport Task from Inventory Part in Stock Screen

The Inventory Part in Stock Screen allows you to multi-select lines and the Move with Transport Task option is available. The box that pops-up has all the lines listed and you pick a single location. This however creates a Transport Task for each line. Has anyone else experienced this or have we ran into a bug?

 

 

We are on IFS10 UPD8.

What are your transport task consolidation rules set to on your site?

It is the standard behavior of the system. There is a setup in the site level to tweak the behavior of the transport tasks as shown below.

Given the current setup, it behaves as follows;

• different part numbers + same location = multiple transport tasks

• different part numbers + different location = multiple transport tasks

• same part numbers + same location (like different lots) = single transport tasks

• same part numbers + different location = multiple transport tasks
