We are at our fiscal year end and need to be able to run the Cleanup of Inventory task on items that have a transaction within 24 hours. Is there a way around this issue?

+19Hi, cleaning up records ‘within’ a time period doesn’t seem possible when there is a set parameter for ‘Days Before Current Date’. Maybe you will have to handle this in the database as a data repair.
When you run the Cleanup of Inventory, the system will only consider records where the on hand quantity is 0 for the number of days, ‘Days Before Current Date’ entered. It will only cleanup records that meet that criteria.
At a tangent to this. When should you be clean up inventory records? What are the disadvantages? We are currently writing a report that uses inventory part in stock for serial tracked items.
