I am trying to add a new characteristic to a part in inventory part but I need to create a new code. Where do I do that so that I can add it to the list?
You’ll need access to this area of the Part Catalog
Then under Part Characteristic, Discrete or Variable depending on the type
Thank you. I am in there, but I still cannot seem to create a new Code. I am ultimately trying to put on a new symbol to our existing shipping label
Then that will be a permissions related restriction as this is considered setup or basic data.
Given your title and job function, we wouldn’t allow the update by a user in a similar position in our company. It is a change request that goes through IT, then someone in IT adds it. Maybe a similar process for you.
