Is it possible to backflush from a location if the stock has a catch qty?
+26Yes, but only under a certain condition. From the documentation on Catch Unit:
Automatically performed material issues are accepted, provided the full inventory quantity at a certain location is used. In cases where you try to automatically issue just a portion of the quantity on a location, the background job will fail as the system cannot determine which catch quantity to use. Resolve the problem by using a manual procedure.
So, if I have 1000 EA (1500 lb catch qty) in stock, I could backflush the 1000 EA in one transaction such as a shop order receipt. I would not be able to backflush 250 EA in a partial receipt.
