Availability of “Assign Employee/Team” Function in IEE (Apps 10 UPD 18)

We need to assign employees/teams to shop order operations. According to the documentation for IFS Apps 10, this feature is available from the Shop Order Operations RMB and also in the Shop Floor Workbench.

However, when I checked in the IEE client (Apps 10), I couldn’t find this option anywhere. In Aurena, it is available (in the same environment as the IEE client).

Initially, in Aurena, the command button was not visible because CBS(Constraint Based Scheduling) was active on all sites. Since we do not use CBS, we disabled it. After that, the “Assign Employee/Team” option became visible in Aurena.

Now, we need to check whether this functionality is also available in the IEE client, because the currently used client is IEE.

Is this feature supported in the IEE client for Apps 10?

Yes in IFS Cloud and apps 10 Aurena client, the MRO and normal shop orders and manager using the same client / page.

In IEE, maybe you can try to do the assignment from the Shop Floor Workbench screen instead of the MRO Shop Order page?

Yes it should be available both in IEE and Aurena client in Apps 10. But as mentioned, CBS and APB must be disabled for the site.

Thanks, ​@Björn Hultgren . We found it after refreshing the cache and restarting the application. We hadn’t restarted the IEE client or refreshed the cache after disabling CBS, so it was likely due to a cache issue.

    The Assign Employee/Team feature seems to be unavailable for MRO shop orders in IEE Apps 10.

    Do you have any idea why this is the case?

    In IEE, we cannot handle MRO assembly/disassembly shop orders in the normal Shop Order window. Instead, these MRO shop orders are managed through a separate window under Complex Assembly MRO.

    However, in Aurena, this functionality is available. We compared the same MRO shop order in both clients, and it was possible to assign employees in Aurena, but not in IEE client. 
    we are planning to upgrade to cloud so we would like to use this standard functionality but this is not in IEE. we must need this

    Again thanks for the quick response and alternative for the issue. 
    Ill ask them to use shop floor workbench to satisfy for this now.
