Automatically default a specific Handling Unit ID when creating shop orders from requisitions

Hi everyone,

Is it possible in standard IFS Cloud to default a specific existing Handling Unit ID for packing shop order receipts based on the manufactured part?

For example:

• Handling Unit Type: CRATE

• Existing Handling Unit IDs: CRATE-100, CRATE-101 and CRATE-102

• Manufactured Part: SPORT-BIKE

We create our shop orders from Shop Order Requisitions and need the whole process to be automated. Whenever a requisition is converted into a shop order for SPORT-BIKE, we would like CRATE-101 to be connected automatically for packing the finished goods, without manually connecting it to each shop order.

I haven’t found a way to define this default against the part. The requirement is to use CRATE-101 specifically, rather than generate a new HU of type CRATE through a packing instruction.

Is there a standard setup to support this end-to-end process, or would it require customisation? Assume CRATE-101 is available and not connected to another shop order or shipment.
