Can I display the material (components) in the APB?

Does the APB take into account the stock of components for planning, including the lead time of the individual components?

How can I set this or what are the basic settings?

BR

Hi.

Indeed you can.

if a part is a scheduling constraint, then you need to set the part as “ finite “ or “ always finite”

Finite - means - the operation that needs this material will schedule only  after its Leadtime or  the projected quantity onhand fulfil the operation requirement.

Always finite- means the operation that needs this material will schedule only  after projected quantity on hand fulfil the operation requirement.

Infinite- means- there s no material restriction for scheduling/

The setting is in Inventory part > Planning tab > schedule capacity

within APB, the operation object has material tab showing the material demand.

you can load the material object also to APB And plot it.

It will show the material demand supply profile and the availability of material for the operations ( so that they can be scheduled).

Hope this helps

Thanks and regards
