Hi all,

I am getting the following error while opening the Business Reporter. Any suggestions to resolve this issue?

Hi All,

Found the solution. Followed the following steps:

Open Excel

Go to File → Options

Go to Add-ins

Select COM Add-ins from Manage(dropdown) and click GO.

If the popped window doesn’t contain contains IFS Business Reporter Add-ins or the add-ins are there but it is not ticked then try ticking the adding and press OK.

Then you should get this.

Confirm by reopening excel. If the tick is there then the problem solved and remember to check whether the load behavior is Load at Startup.

Still if you are not getting the above, try re-installing Business Reporter.

Hi all,

I would like to add another step to the solution. I faced the same problem and unfortunately the issue wasn’t solved with the steps above. When I tried to activate the checkbox in “COM Add-ins” the checkbox was deactivated again, once I reopened the window. 

 

After some research I found that the element was listed in “deactivated elements” (step two below). There I could activate the element (step 4)  and then repeat the checkbox activation in COM Add-ins. Now the Business Reporter works.
