The following error appeared at 01:19 in the morning when hardly anyone was on the system.

The report is scheduled to run.

Template rendering Exception:  Unexpected error while calling server method OrderXlrReport/SaveRenderedReport, Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.. 
Error not related to report design. Therefore report not saved to error folder. 
Last successful execution log entry: Template file ORDER_INTAKE_AND_SALES_V1_1(215169) closed

 

Any ideas how I can get to the bottom of the “System.OutOfMemoryException” error?

I have looked through other cases that have reported regarding the “System.OutOfMemoryException” error. I suspect that the "In-Memory compression level" system parameter will help you to reduce this issue. Please refer below documentation to have a better understanding about the In-Memory and try to do changes if possible.
