almighty community,

i am trying to build an inventory aging report using IFS Business Reporter. i am trying to use Receipt Date this column in Inventory Part in Stock window as a calculation base.

but i cannot find this field any where in below 3 data sources.

  1. Inventory Transaction History
  2. Inventory TurnOver
  3. Total Inventory Value

kindly advise.

Thank you.

Hi @ronhu,

If it is not available under existing information sources, you will have to create an IAL to fetch that value. From the IAL created you can then create a quick information source so that newly added quick information source can be used to create the report.

Dilmi.

Hi,

It is not necessary to create a IAL and quick information in this case. It is possible to add the item as a custom attribute to dimension or fact (information source).

Please check below links for more information.

IEE

Go for IAL and quick information source options in complex cases where it is not possible to customize information source using above options.

@Voshitha thank you for the link you provide. i pretty much like the webcast and demo, but unfortunately, these videos are within IFS network, and not open to customer.
